Valet Manager

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of valet attendants to ensure efficient parking and retrieval of vehicles.
• Provide exceptional guest services by greeting visitors warmly, assisting with vehicle needs, and addressing inquiries promptly.
• Manage cash transactions accurately, process payments, and maintain detailed financial records including cashiering and retail math.
• Ensure all valet operations comply with safety protocols, including heavy lifting procedures and outdoor work safety standards.
• Maintain clear communication with team members and guests to facilitate smooth service flow and resolve any issues swiftly.
• Oversee the handling of standard passenger cars, including manual transmission vehicles, ensuring proper operation and care.
• Conduct regular training sessions on customer service excellence, vehicle handling, and safety procedures to uphold high standards.

Experience

• Proven experience in guest services or hospitality roles, preferably within a dealership or automotive environment.
• Prior valet parking or automotive service experience is highly desirable, including familiarity with dealership operations or delivery driver roles.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse guests and team members.
• Experience operating standard passenger cars, manual transmissions, and performing outdoor work in various weather conditions.
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while demonstrating excellent cashiering skills and retail math proficiency.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus to effectively serve a diverse clientele.
• Physical capability for heavy lifting and outdoor work; previous experience as a delivery driver or in retail environments involving cash handling is advantageous.
