Valet/Bellman

• Assist guests with opening/closing vehicle doors.
• Welcome guests and visitors. Provide gracious, attentive, and friendly service.
• Able to communicate parking procedures to guests/visitors.
• Tag guest vehicle keys with date & time, plate number, model, and room number and have the guest sign the tag.
• Verify guests’ valet tags with the one attached to the key before handing over keys or vehicles to the guest.
• Able to effectively park and retrieve guests' cars without causing damage to the vehicle.
• Able to provide guests with information regarding property facilities, amenities, services, and hours of operation.
• Able to provide guests with direction and local areas of interest and activities.
• Responsible to maintain the security of vehicles, belongings kept inside the car, and vehicle keys.
• Document and report all vehicle incidents like damages, accidents, theft, missing articles, etc..
• Review shift logs/daily memo books and document any relevant details or information in the logbook.
• Monitor and maintain safety, security, and cleanliness of parking areas and valet stations.
• Escorting guests to their rooms, explaining the room facilities
• Transport departing guests’ luggage from the room to the lobby, ensuring that the guest has verified that all luggage has been accounted for.
• Assist with keeping lobby area clean and orderly

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to drive and operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to speak, read and write Standard English.
• Must be able to stand during the entire shift.
• Must have a professional appearance and attitude at all times.
• Available to work flexible Full-Time hours including weekends, holidays, and special events.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, high-volume, fast-paced, guest-centric environment
• Must be able to move lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 80 pounds.
