Position Summary

The Genesis Valet / Porter is responsible for providing exceptional service to guests and service customers while maintaining the appearance, organization, and cleanliness of the dealership and service areas. This position manages service vehicles on the lot, assists with vehicle cleaning and preparation, performs valet services, and helps ensure the property and service lounge remain clean, organized, and welcoming.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage and organize service vehicles on the dealership lot, ensuring vehicles are properly positioned and secure.
• Perform valet services for guests and service customers in a courteous, professional, and timely manner.
• Meet and greet service customers and assist with a positive and welcoming customer experience.
• Safely transport and park customer vehicles as needed. Assist with the cleaning, washing, vacuuming, and general preparation of service vehicles.
• Ensure vehicles are clean and presentable before being returned to customers.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional appearance throughout the dealership property.
• Keep the service lounge clean, tidy, and properly stocked.
• Assist service advisors and other dealership personnel with customer and vehicle needs.
• Monitor the service lot and help maintain an orderly flow of vehicles.
• Follow all dealership safety procedures and guidelines when operating or moving vehicles. Handle customer vehicles with care and professionalism at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to safely operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles, if applicable.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
• Ability to work independently while also being a team player.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work outdoors for extended periods.
• Previous valet, porter, automotive, hospitality, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
