What they need
- Figure is an AI Robotics company developing a general purpose humanoid. Our Humanoid is designed for corporate tasks targeting labor shortages and jobs that are undesirable or unsafe
- We are looking for a Validation Engineering Intern for Winter 2026 to support the design, automation, and execution of system-level validation across our humanoid platform
- Architect hardware and software solutions for validating humanoid subsystems (actuators, batteries, cameras, sensors)
- Write Python scripts to automate validation and regression testing
- Contribute to the development of a CI/CD pipeline for hardware/firmware/software integration
- Debug and resolve software regressions and hardware issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams- This internship is designed for students in their final year of an undergraduate or master’s program, as well as recent graduates who are on track to complete their degree by the end of 2026, or the following year
- Proficiency with Python or a similar programming language
- Experience with Git and version control workflows
- Graduate student or recent graduate in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Familiarity with microcontrollers and embedded systems
- Minimum 12-week internship, 1 to 2 terms preferred
- Strong fundamentals in electrical engineering
- Experience with firmware development in C
- Exposure to PCB design and troubleshooting
- Hands-on work with sensors, motors, or electromechanical systems
