Value-Added Logistics Operator

About the role

Capital Human Resource Management Pte. Ltd is seeking a Value-Added Logistics Operator to join our East Region facility on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be instrumental in delivering enhanced logistics services that go beyond standard warehousing and distribution. As a Value-Added Logistics Operator, you will play a crucial part in optimising our operations, ensuring that customers receive comprehensive solutions tailored to their specific needs. This position is vital to our commitment to providing exceptional service within the warehousing, storage and distribution sector.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, inspect and process incoming goods and materials according to established quality standards and procedures
• Perform value-added services such as labelling, packaging, kitting, assembly and light manufacturing tasks as required by customers
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper stock organisation within the warehouse facility
• Pick, pack and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
• Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks and other material handling machinery safely and efficiently
• Conduct regular stock counts and reconciliation to maintain inventory integrity
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational targets and deadlines
• Adhere to health, safety and environmental regulations at all times
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment in compliance with facility standards
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and report issues to management

What we're looking for

• Proven experience working in a warehouse, logistics or distribution environment, preferably in a value-added logistics setting
• Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks and hand trucks
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in picking, packing and inventory management tasks
• Ability to work efficiently and maintain productivity in a fast-paced environment
• Physical capability to perform manual handling, lifting and repetitive tasks
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and warehouse management software
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Punctuality, reliability and a strong work ethic
• Basic numeracy skills for inventory tracking and documentation
• Willingness to learn new processes and adapt to evolving operational requirements
• Relevant certifications such as forklift operation certification are advantageous
