Value Stream Manager

This position will require regular travel between our Elmhurst and Fort Worth operations to support teams, oversee performance, and drive consistent operational excellence across both facilities.

Summary:

The Value Stream Manager will oversee the operations at FlashCo's manufacturing facilities, focusing on optimizing value streams to improve efficiency and drive continuous improvement while ensuring we are meeting/exceeding customer expectations. This role will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence. An expert in lean manufacturing principles, strong leadership abilities, and an execution mindset will be crucial in driving operational excellence, maximizing efficiency, and delivering high-quality finished product to our customers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the value stream teams to achieve operational goals.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve value stream performance.
• Promote an environment of empowerment, respect, and trust while holding team members accountable for their actions.
• Identify and eliminate waste in the value stream processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for the value stream.
• Develop and manage the value stream budget.
• Implement best practices for lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
• Mentor and develop value stream team members.
• Implements and maintains preventative maintenance programs.
• Accountable for plant security, opening and closing of plant. Monitors all comings and goings.
• Ensure facilities are current on all codes, regulations and internal requirements.
• Accountable for annual update and coordination of Emergency Preparedness Plan.
• Accountable for safety training.
• Responsible & Accountable for FlashCo assets.
• Other duties as assigned per supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in manufacturing operations.
• Experience in a leadership role, preferably in lean manufacturing or continuous improvement.
• Six Sigma certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of ERP systems and manufacturing processes.

Physical Demands:

• The ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
• The ability to lift, carry, and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Working Conditions:

• The position may require travel to different locations.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but can be higher in manufacturing areas.
• Occasional weekend and/or evening work may be required.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
