J. Middleton & Sons Ltd is a well-established family business, and we're looking for Furniture Delivery Drivers to join our friendly and growing home delivery team.

You'll work as part of a 2-person delivery crew, delivering and collecting furniture from customers' homes. No two days are exactly the same, and you'll play an important part in making sure our customers receive a friendly, professional service.

No furniture delivery experience? No problem. Full training will be provided for the right person.

Why join us?

• Guaranteed 40 hours per week
• £12.71 per hour
• Permanent position with opportunities for progression
• 28 days' holiday including bank holidays
• Company pension scheme
• Full training and ongoing support
• Annual salary reviews
• On-site parking
• Friendly, supportive working environment
• Work as part of a 2-person team rather than working alone
• Active role with plenty of variety

What will you be doing?

As a Furniture Delivery Driver, you'll:

• Drive company vehicles safely and responsibly
• Deliver and collect furniture from customers' homes
• Load, unload and safely secure furniture
• Work closely with your delivery partner throughout the day
• Provide friendly and professional customer service
• Assist with warehouse and porter duties when required

• Reliable and punctual

• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• Friendly and confident when dealing with customers

• Comfortable working as part of a team
• Safety-conscious and responsible

You'll need:

• Finish times vary depending on the day's delivery schedule
• Full-time and part-time positions available
