Van Delivery Driver

We are looking for a dedicated individual who wants to work a full time role while we are expanding the company. We have a new client that will requires early morning starts for multi-drop larger items in and around London.

As a Van Delivery Driver you are a vital part of our logistics operation! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering goods to our customers, ensuring timely service and maintaining high standards of professionalism. Your driving expertise and excellent communication skills will help us build trust and satisfaction with every delivery. Responsibilities

• Safely operate a commercial van to deliver products to residential and commercial locations
• Plan efficient routes to maximize delivery speed and accuracy
• Load and unload goods, often requiring heavy lifting and careful handling of packages
• Verify delivery details, obtain signatures, and complete all necessary documentation accurately
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding delivery times or any issues that arise
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with traffic laws
• Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of the van to ensure optimal performance

Skills

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar driving role, preferably with van or commercial vehicle experience
• Strong knowledge of driving regulations and safe driving practices
• Ability to lift heavy packages repeatedly throughout the day with proper technique
• Excellent communication skills for interacting professionally with customers and team members
• Warehouse experience is a plus, providing familiarity with loading procedures and inventory handling
• Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail in all tasks performed
• Ability to navigate using GPS devices or maps efficiently in various environments

Pay: £12.71-£13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 60.0 per week
