Van Delivery Driver

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles, including lorries and vans, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Deliver goods to various locations promptly and efficiently, ensuring accurate order fulfilment
• Assist with loading and unloading items, including heavy lifting when necessary
• Maintain the cleanliness and routine maintenance of the vehicle to ensure optimal operation
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered
• Complete all required documentation accurately, including delivery logs and vehicle checklists
• Follow health and safety protocols at all times to minimise risks during operations

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar commercial driving role
• Valid driver’s licence
• Strong communication skills to interact professionally with clients and colleagues
• Ability to organise workload efficiently and manage time effectively
• Knowledge of routes and traffic patterns is advantageous
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of safety and service quality

Job Types: Full-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: £200.00-£250.00 per day
