Van Driver

The role

We are looking for a number of Van Drivers to support our operations based out of our Motherwell Regional Service Centre.

Base salaryof £13.35 per hour. We also pay weekly overtime at x1.5 over 45 hoursand you will be part of our Van Driver bonus scheme.

What you’ll take on

You’ll be a part of our critical distribution operation 

• Transporting stock to our Distribution centres, 3rd party suppliers and retail stores
• Adopt a  ‘Safety First’ mindset where nothing is placed over the safety of yourself, the public or your colleagues.
• Responsible for checking your vehicle daily and ensuring it is kept clean and tidy
• All shifts operate on a 5 days out of 7 which includes weekends.  The shift startsfrom 06:00**,**totaling 35 hours per week.

What you’ll bring

• Good team ethic and customer service skills
• Accountability and responsibility for your vehicle and the van load
• Maximum of 6 points on license
• Computer literate

Successful applicants will receive 2 days of training from a Driver Development Coach (DDC) and will be aligned to a Manager to provide any additional support required outside of their training alongside any support provided by the DDC.
