Van Driver

• Transports participants according to an established schedule, staying with allotted times.
• Assists participants in and out of the bus.
• Interacts with participants in a warm, professional manner, maintaining positive relationships with participants.
• Notifies the Director of Transportation/Administrator of any potential mechanical problems or needed repairs.
• Maintains an open line of communication with the Activity Director regarding needed transportation.
• Maintains a clean driving record.
• Assists participants with activities of daily living such as daily meal service, ambulation, transfers and supervision/monitoring of participants during field trips.

Qualifications:

• Relates to participants in a courteous, understanding and cooperative manner.
• Maintains a current driver’s license of the appropriate type required for the van.
• Maintains a good driving record.

Education and Experience:

• Must be at least 20 years of age.
• High school education or equivalent GED required.
• Prefer at least one year’s experience driving professionally.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
