As a Van Driver, you’ll play an important role in helping children safely travel between their homes, schools, and our programs. What You’ll Do

• Safely transport children to and from their homes, schools, and Square One programs.
• Ensure children are properly seated and secured according to applicable safety requirements.
• Conduct daily vehicle safety checks and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain accurate mileage, route, and daily transportation records.
• Communicate professionally with families and staff, address concerns appropriately, and follow all transportation and child safety procedures.
• Release children only to authorized individuals and follow established emergency procedures.

What You’ll Bring

• Minimum age of 21.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Massachusetts 7D license appropriate for the position, with at least three years of driving experience and a satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to meet applicable background screening and child care transportation requirements including CORI and EEC.
• Dependability, punctuality, professionalism, and the ability to interact positively with children and families.
• Ability to use navigation tools and safely assist children with boarding, exiting, and securing seat belts, including performing the physical duties required of the position.
• Ability to obtain First Aid and CPR certification, as required and complete additional EEC training requirements.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Availability to work a split shift, with morning and afternoon hours, as required for full-time positions.

Pay: $21.56 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 40.0 per week
