Van Driver

As a Van Driver, you will play a key part in maintaining efficient warehouse operations, handling manual and heavy lifting tasks, and providing outstanding customer service. Duties

• Safely operate vans, box trucks, and other commercial vehicles in compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and traffic laws
• Load and unload cargo using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or material handling equipment while adhering to safe lifting practices
• Deliver goods promptly to customers’ locations, ensuring accurate order fulfillment and proper documentation
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety and maintenance standards are met
• Assist with warehouse operations by moving inventory, organizing shipments, and supporting material handling activities
• Use mobile devices or GPS systems to navigate routes efficiently and communicate with dispatch or team members as needed
• Follow all safety protocols related to heavy lifting, weight handling in the workplace, and manual transmission driving

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier with a focus on delivery driving or commercial truck driving preferred
• Warehouse experience is highly desirable, including familiarity with warehouse operations and material handling equipment operation
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating a box truck or van is preferred
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling safely; knowledge of safe lifting practices required
• Knowledge of DOT regulations, traffic laws, and route driving best practices
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate professionally with clients and team members
• Comfortable using mobile devices for navigation and communication during deliveries
• Prior experience with manual transmission vehicles is advantageous

Pay: $12.00 - $12.35 per hour
