Part-time Van Driver - Senior Programs

The City of Maple Heights is seeking a part-time Van Driver who will provide safe and timely transportation to and from medical, grocery, banking, shopping other previously scheduled personal appointments and deliver meals to homebound clients within the Senior Program.

Qualified applicants will assist clients in entering and leaving the vehicle, complete forms and other reports concerning vehicle condition, daily mileage, number of passengers, daily activities, etc. Must have 3-5 years previous experience working with senior citizen population, ability to meet essential job functions, good driving record in the last three years; CDL not required.

Hours are typically 8:00 AM- 2:30 PM, about 20-25 hours per week depending on appointment scheduling.

This is a non-union position. The starting wage is $12.00-15.00 per hour, depending on experience. The position includes participation in the OPERS pension system, but does not include healthcare benefits.
