Van Driver / Warehouse Support

Job Summary

As a Van Driver / Warehouse Support team member, you’ll keep deliveries moving and warehouse operations running smoothly. You’ll drive a van on assigned routes, deliver orders to customers, and support warehouse tasks such as moving, loading, and unloading materials. This hands-on role combines safe driving, customer service, and physical work.

This is very much a split responsibility position. Driving is 50-60% of the job. A successful candidate will seek out ways to make themselves versatile throughout the company.

Responsibilities

• Drive a van while following traffic regulations and applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
• Complete route driving and delivery driving, using mobile devices to review routes and delivery details.
• Provide courteous customer service during deliveries.
• Load and unload orders; move materials using safe lifting practices and material handling equipment such as a pallet jack.
• Support warehouse operations through manual handling, weight handling, and other warehouse tasks; perform heavy lifting as required.

Experience

• Delivery driver experience, van driver experience, or commercial driving experience is preferred; commercial truck driving experience is an asset.
• Warehouse experience and familiarity with warehouse operations, moving, and material handling are preferred.
• Ability to drive safely, adhere to traffic regulations, and follow DOT requirements applicable to the role.
• Ability to handle physical work, including load and unload duties, and apply safe lifting practices.
• Experience operating a pallet jack or other material handling equipment is an asset.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36.0 per week
