Shift Times: 6am to 2:30pm

Pay Rate: £14.20 Per Hour (+ £1.15 for any hours worked between 10pm and 6am)

Our vast direct-to-store (DTS) distribution network, comprising of 17 depots nationwide, enables us to make over 10,400 daily deliveries of our own chilled and frozen produce and that of third parties.

What you'll be doing:

From the simple sandwich to a range of chilled foods, our customers need fresh stock daily and you could be part of our nationwide team making some of those 3.5 million deliveries each year and keeping Britain fed. You would be expected to work five days per week, which could include mandatory weekends. If you are keen to progress, Greencore can also offer development opportunities to further your career. As a member of the team you will mainly be responsible for the Van Loading Area.

• You will be responsible for the van loading area
• Ensure that all activities are conducted in line with Safe System of Work
• Listening to daily briefs with management and staff
• Checking off outbound HGVs
• Keeping to an outbound schedule
• Communicating with transport
• Inbound/Outbound live tracking
• Occasional freezer work
• Keeping the loading area tidy
• Managing pallets outbound/inbound
• Doing van routes and delivery driving when business requires

What we’re looking for:

Being great with people is essential. In fact, this is the first thing we look for when we recruit a Greencore driver/loader.

• Must have a full UK driving license with no more than 6 points
• Must be able to work weekends
• Have experience of working in a busy warehouse or transport operation.
• Good attention to detail and demonstrable self-discipline to manage your work tasks with minimum supervision, whilst being held duty accountable
