Van Driver/Warehouse Operative

Duties

• Safely operate company vans to deliver goods to various locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Plan efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and punctuality
• Load and unload products from the van, ensuring items are handled with care during heavy lifting and transportation
• Assist with warehouse tasks such as stock replenishment, inventory checks, and order picking
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with team members and customers
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met and report any maintenance issues promptly
• Support warehouse organization by keeping work areas tidy, safe, and well-stocked

Requirements

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or van driver with a clean driving record
• Valid driving license suitable for commercial driving of vans or light trucks
• Previous warehouse experience is highly desirable
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during loading/unloading tasks
• Strong communication skills for interacting professionally with customers and team members
• Good organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and route planning
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
