  • Analyze system bottlenecks and performance issues across applications, databases, cloud infrastructure, networking, and distributed system components.
  • Lead reliability and resilience validation through fault injection, network impairment, failover, and recovery testing.
  • Drive automation-first testing practices and integrate verification into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Mentor verification engineers and establish best practices for verification, automation, and quality engineering.
  • Collaborate with Software, Systems, Architecture, Quality, and Regulatory teams throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Ensure compliance with IEC 62304, ISO 13485, ISO 14971, FDA, and MDR regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related STEM discipline.
  • Proven experience leading Verification & Validation activities for complex software products, preferably medical devices or regulated systems.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in Performance Engineering, Reliability Testing, and NFR verification.
  • Experience developing automation frameworks and test scripts using Java, Python, or similar technologies.
  • Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, Gatling, k6, LoadRunner, Locust, or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, networking, observability, and scalability principles.
  • Experience with CI/CD platforms and automated quality pipelines.
  • Excellent technical leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in connected healthcare, cloud-connected medical devices, remote serviceability solutions, or distributed healthcare platforms.
  • Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Dynatrace, Splunk, or App Insights.
  • Experience validating highly available, mission-critical systems in regulated environments.
