What they need
Job Summary
We're a growing vape wholesaler with a small, close-knit team, looking for someone who's just as comfortable managing an e-commerce website as they are getting stuck into the action on the warehouse floor. With a new website in development, you'll be building our online product catalogue, organising categories, writing descriptions, managing stock and helping with orders and customers in the warehouse.
You'll work directly with the founders, have a say in how things are done and plenty of room to grow with the business. It's a varied role, with very little chance of watching the clock.
Duties
- Uploading products, writing descriptions and creating well-organised categories for our new website.
- Using AI to work smarter and faster. We're all for it, provided the final content is accurate, engaging and sounds like it was written by you.
- Managing product imagery. If you know your way around a camera, even better. Equally fine if images are outsourced.
- Keeping online inventory and stock information accurate daily.
- Picking, packing and dispatching customer orders.
- Helping customers purchasing directly from the warehouse and online.
- Getting involved in other day-to-day warehouse tasks when needed.
Skills
Previous e-commerce experience is important. You'll need to be confident using a website's backend, managing product listings and figuring things out without constant supervision.
An understanding of vaping products would be useful, particularly when organising our catalogue, but it's not a requirement. Marketing experience, photography skills and a good eye for detail would also be welcome.
Above all, we're looking for someone organised, curious and practical, who takes initiative and genuinely enjoys a working day that isn't entirely predictable.
What we offer
- A friendly, small team where you'll work directly with the founders.
- The opportunity to contribute ideas and influence how the business develops.
- A mix of creative, technical and practical work.
- Genuine scope to develop your skills and take on more responsibility as we grow.
Location: Charles House, Southall, UB2 4BD
Hours: 11 am - 8 pm Monday to Friday. Part time hours possible, and some flexibility around days for the right individual.
Salary: Depends on experience and skills you can bring to this role.
