Variance Analyst

Inventory Monitoring and Analysis

• Consistently monitors inventory movement across all locations, evaluate stocks and identify discrepancies between system records and physical counts.

Variance investigation and documentation

• Investigate root cause which may involve reviewing transaction history, examining production records and identifying adherence to proper storage and handling procedures. Findings are documented and reports are generated for management review.

Cycle counting & reconciliation

• Regular cycle counts are conducted to validate inventory accuracy. Any discrepancies identified are reconciled in the system, ensuring compliance with internal policies and accounting standards.

Collaborations across departments

• Work closely with other teams including planner, production managers, finished goods warehouse and finance to align inventory records, with operational realities, communicate issues and prevent recurrence of discrepancies.

Process improvement and reporting.

• Identify trends and recurring caused of inventory variance and provide recommendations to improve inventory control processes, reduce cost and minimize the risk of stock out and overstocking. Prepare regular reports, dashboards ad metric for operational and financial oversight.

JOB Requirements:

• Relevant experience in a Food Manufacturing/FMCG environment
• Experience in Manufacturing KPI Monitoring and Performance Analysis
• Strong knowledge of Material Variance Analysis
• Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset
• Experience in Inventory Management and SAP ERP
• Proficient in Data Analysis and Reporting
• Knowledge and experience in Root Cause Analysis
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of Power BI is an advantage
• Experience in process improvement and operational performance monitoring is an advantage
• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or related technical course
• Experience in inventory management and variance analysis.
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office and reporting.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with productions and operations team.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Pay: Php16,000.00 - Php18,000.00 per month
