VAT Senior Manager

A Top 10 UK accountancy firm is looking to appoint a VAT Senior Manager to join its growing London VAT team.

The role offers the opportunity to manage a varied portfolio of business clients, providing VAT compliance and advisory support , while taking ownership of complex projects and developing long-term client relationships.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of clients across VAT compliance and advisory
• Lead complex VAT consultancy and advisory projects
• Act as a trusted adviser, identifying wider commercial and strategic opportunities
• Develop existing client relationships and identify opportunities for additional work
• Manage, mentor and develop junior team members
• Support business development, networking and cross-referral opportunities
• Maintain high standards of technical and compliance quality
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across the wider firm

About You

• Significant VAT experience gained within practice or industry
• Strong technical VAT knowledge with experience handling complex matters
• Proven experience managing clients and developing relationships
• Commercially minded with an appetite for business development
• Experience managing and developing junior staff
• Strong project management and stakeholder management skills
• ACA, ACCA, CTA or equivalent qualified
