Inclusive Excellence Statement Advertised Job Summary The VA/TA Benefits Coordinator serves as a School Certifying Official and coordinates the processing of veterans benefits and DoD Tuition Assistance for student veterans in the USC Columbia campus. The person in the position will strive to process benefits in a timely, compliant, and accurate manner and provide excellent customer service with the goal of both improving the veteran student experience and supporting student's time to degree goals. This position reports to the Veteran Benefits Director.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities - Basic office computer skills, and exceptional oral and written communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications - Military experience; experience in working with Student Veterans in a higher education setting.
