VAzure DevOps Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer for a W2 contract position in the healthcare domain. This role focuses on building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, managing Azure cloud infrastructure, automating deployments, and supporting reliable production environments. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, infrastructure as code, containerization, and cloud security.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Manage cloud infrastructure and services within Microsoft Azure.
• Use Git for source control, branching strategies, and collaborative development workflows.
• Develop automation scripts using PowerShell and/or Python.
• Provision and manage infrastructure using Terraform and/or Azure Bicep.
• Deploy and support containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes, preferably Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, pipeline, deployment, and production issues.
• Monitor cloud environments and applications using Azure monitoring, logging, and observability tools.
• Apply cloud security practices covering networking, IAM/RBAC, secrets management, and DevSecOps.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Support production operations and help maintain the reliability and performance of cloud-based systems.

Required Qualifications

• At least 10 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or related roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Strong experience implementing and managing Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of Git, branching strategies, and source control.
• Scripting and automation experience using PowerShell and/or Python.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and/or Azure Bicep.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong troubleshooting and production support skills.
• Experience with Azure monitoring, logging, and observability.
• Understanding of cloud security, networking, IAM/RBAC, secrets management, and DevSecOps.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams.
• Healthcare domain experience is mandatory.
