VCF Platform Engineer

Senior VMware Infrastructure Consultant – VCF / vSphere / NSX

Rate: £650 per day (Inside IR35)

Location: Remote

Length: 6 Months

We’re looking for 2 x Senior VMware Infrastructure / Platform Consultants to join a major enterprise infrastructure programme on an initial 6-month contract.

This is a hands-on technical role rather than a high-level architecture position. You’ll be working across a large-scale VMware platform, supporting and developing highly available, resilient production infrastructure.

We’re looking for strong experience across:

• VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF)
• VMware vSphere
• vSAN
• NSX
• VMware Aria Suite / VCF Operations
• Enterprise server infrastructure – ideally Dell hardware
• Git / GitHub
• Infrastructure automation
• Enterprise security, compliance and resilience
• Supporting high-availability and high-performance production platforms

You’ll need to be comfortable getting hands-on with the technology, troubleshooting complex platform issues and working within a large enterprise environment.

Experience across the wider VMware Cloud Foundation stack is particularly valuable, and any exposure to VCF 9.x would be beneficial.
