VDA/Estimator

Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday

Fix Auto Cheltenham is looking for an experienced VDA Estimator to join our busy and growing team.

We are looking for someone who can accurately assess accident-damaged vehicles, prepare estimates and ensure repairs are planned correctly and efficiently from start to finish.

The Role

• Inspect and assess damaged vehicles
• Prepare accurate repair estimates
• Use Audatex and Thatcham methods
• Identify all repair, replacement and labour requirements
• Manage supplements and estimate amendments
• Liaise with customers, insurers and work providers
• Work closely with the workshop to ensure efficient vehicle repair
• Ensure repairs are carried out to the correct manufacturer methods and standards
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Support the team in achieving excellent quality, customer service and commercial results

About You

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• Previous experience as a VDA / Estimator within an accident repair environment
• ATA VDA qualification – desirable
• Strong knowledge of vehicle repair methods
• Experience using Audatex and Thatcham Escribe
• Good understanding of Bodyshop Management Systems
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• The ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
• A professional approach and commitment to right-first-time repairs
