VDC / BIM Coordinator

VDC/BIM Coordinator Location: Raleigh, NC Salary: $70,000 - $110,000 (Based on Experience)

Seeking a VDC/BIM Coordinator to support high-priority electrical construction projects through design coordination, 3D modeling, clash detection, shop drawing production, and field support. This role works closely with project managers, engineers, contractors, and field teams to ensure accurate and efficient project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and coordinate electrical BIM models using Revit and Navisworks
• Perform clash detection and multidisciplinary coordination
• Produce shop drawings, as-builts, quantity takeoffs, and construction documents
• Support field layout, installation, and project teams throughout construction
• Collaborate with engineers, vendors, and other trades to resolve design issues

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of BIM/VDC experience in construction
• Proficiency with Revit MEP, Navisworks, and Bluebeam
• Experience with electrical system layout preferred
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
• Self-motivated with a passion for technology and continuous improvement
