Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented VDC/BIM Manager to lead our Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) initiatives. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the development, coordination, and management of digital models that enhance project visualization, collaboration, and construction efficiency. Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of VDC/BIM strategies across multiple projects, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to develop accurate 3D CAD models using tools such as Revit, NavisWorks, SketchUp, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and SolidWorks.
• Manage the creation of detailed schematics, CAD documentation, and drafting for mechanical design and construction processes.
• Oversee the integration of building information modeling (BIM) tools to facilitate clash detection, constructability reviews, and project sequencing.
• Supervise the production of CAD detailing and mechanical drafting to ensure precision in engineering CAD design and schematic development.
• Conduct quality control checks on all BIM models and CAD drawings to maintain consistency, accuracy, and compliance with project specifications.
• Provide training and mentorship to team members on advanced CAD software applications including AutoCAD, Revit, 3D CAD modeling techniques, and 2D animation for visual presentations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in VDC/BIM management within the construction or engineering industry.
• Strong proficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, MicroStation, SolidWorks, SketchUp, NavisWorks.
• Extensive knowledge of building information modeling (BIM) tools and processes for construction projects.
• Demonstrated ability in mechanical drafting, schematic development, and CAD documentation for complex engineering systems.
• Familiarity with construction workflows including clash detection, constructability analysis, and project sequencing using 3D modeling platforms.
• Experience with mechanical design principles and construction site coordination is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams while managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
