Vedic Mathematics & Abacus Instructor - Remote

Gradeup Academy is hiring energetic, articulate Vedic Mathematics & Abacus Instructors to deliver interactive live online classes for young learners. In this role, you will teach mental arithmetic techniques, Vedic formulas, and Abacus finger manipulation, while delivering high-energy interactive demo sessions for prospective students.

​Eligibility & Selection Tracks

• ​Track A: Direct Instructor Onboarding (Experienced Educators)
• ​Minimum 2+ years of verified teaching experience in Mental Mathematics, Vedic Maths, or Abacus curricula.
• ​Prior experience working with an EdTech company or at least 2+ years of experience taking live online mental maths sessions.
• ​Strong mastery of the mental maths curriculum along with established hands-on practice in Abacus (both tool-based and visualization methods).
• ​Mandatory Evaluation: Candidates in Track A must appear for and clear a comprehensive Technical Interview & Live Teaching Evaluation assessing speed maths pedagogy, curriculum mastery, and demo presentation skills prior to batch allocation.
• ​Track B: Trainee Instructor Track (Mandatory Upskill & Certification)
• ​Candidates who do not meet the 2+ years benchmark or lack prior EdTech/Abacus pedagogy are required to complete professional Teacher's Training Course and obtain globally recognized certification in Mental Maths & Abacus.
• ​Mandatory Evaluation: Following the completion of the training curriculum, all Track B candidates are required to appear for and clear a final Technical Interview & Demo Assessment for active student batch assignments.

Key Responsibilities

• ​Live Curriculum Sessions: Deliver engaging online classes covering Vedic Maths shortcuts, mental arithmetic speed methods, and progressive Abacus levels.
• ​High-Impact Demo Delivery: Conduct dynamic 20–30 minute live interactive demo sessions for prospective students and parents to build enrollment intent.
• ​Student Mentorship: Track student progress, assess calculation speed, and share periodic developmental feedback with parents.
