Vegetation Operator

Citycare Property is looking for an experienced Vegetation Operator to join our Porirua team. In this hands-on role, you will, complete line trimming and edging, Maintaining Porirua's outdoor spaces.

Working across scheduled and reactive jobs, you will operate ride-on and tractor-mounted mowers, care for vehicles and equipment, and provide professional service when interacting with customers and the public

What You’ll Be Doing | Ngā Kawenga Takohanga

·         Complete line trimming, hedge trimming and edging

·         Undertake chemical spraying, pruning and vegetation removal

·         Operate small equipment to maintain large open areas

·         Care for vehicles, tools and equipment

·         Work independently and as part of the wider team

·         Provide friendly and professional service to the public

What You’ll Bring to the Table| Ngā Mea ka Mauria e Koe ki te Rūnanga:

·           Relevant gardening, horticulture or vegetation maintenance experience

·           A full Class 1 Driver Licence

·           TMO, STMS or GrowSafe certification would be preferred,

·           The ability to work safely both independently and within a team

·           A reliable, practical and motivated approach

·           The desire to work outdoors in all weather conditions
