Vehicle Acquisition Specialist

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Vehicle Acquisition Specialist to lead the procurement and sourcing of vehicles for our Dealership. In this role, you will drive strategic purchasing of retail inventory, Your expertise in lead follow-up and customer service will be instrumental in optimizing vehicle acquisitions while maintaining cost efficiency and quality standards. Duties

• Lead the end-to-end vehicle sourcing process, including Appraisal, evaluation, and Title assignment.
• Negotiate automotive acquisition and pricing with local car-sellers to secure favorable inventory aligned with retail goals.
• Manage procurement activities using Kelly Blue Book and Truecar.
• Utilize automated procurement systems to optimize sourcing strategies, monitor supplier performance, and improve supply chain efficiency.
• Conduct data analysis using Excel and other tools to evaluate pricing trends, inventory levels, and procurement metrics for continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Proven experience in procurement management within manufacturing or automotive sectors, with a strong focus on vehicle sourcing or fleet acquisition.
• Demonstrated ability in price negotiation, contract negotiation, and vendor management to achieve cost savings.
• Familiarity with supply chain management principles, logistics coordination, and inventory control processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel data analysis for procurement insights.
• Strong team leadership skills with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams effectively.
• Excellent communication skills for negotiating purchasing contracts and managing supplier relationships.

Pay: $26.64 - $32.08 per hour
