Our Sofia Engineering Center contributes to the development of advanced electronic solutions including inverters, pumps, thermal management modules, power electronics and intelligent control systems across mobility, industrial, aerospace, aviation and next-generation technology markets.

Mission Of The Role Develop advanced vehicle dynamics algorithms for Electric Power Steering (EPS, SbW) and Braking Systems (ABS, ESC, EHB, Brake-by-Wire) to maximize vehicle safety, stability and driving performance.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop steering assist, return-to-center and damping algorithms;
• Develop ABS, ESC, slip and stability control algorithms;
• Design and tune control algorithms using Model-Based Design;
• Support SIL, HIL and vehicle testing;
• Collaborate with Motor Control, Application SW and Functional Safety;
• Support ADAS integration where applicable.

Required Competencies

• Vehicle Dynamics, Control Theory, Embedded C/C++, MATLAB/Simulink, State Estimation, Chassis Control.
• Master degree in Electronics;
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Automotive industry.

Typical Deliverables

• Vehicle dynamics algorithms, steering functions, braking functions, calibration parameters, tuning reports.

Main Technologies

• MATLAB/Simulink, Embedded C, CANape, CANoe, CarMaker, Control Theory.

Key Interfaces

• Software Architect, System Engineering, Motor Control, Functional Safety, Validation.

Success Criteria

• Excellent steering and braking performance, ISO 26262 compliance, reusable vehicle dynamics algorithms.
