Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Vehicle Dynamics Test Engineer specializing in Ride & Handling to support vehicle evaluation, objective testing, data acquisition, and analysis activities. The role involves executing vehicle dynamics, NVH, braking, and ride & handling tests, interpreting test results, and supporting tire and vehicle development programs through data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Ride & Handling, Vehicle Dynamics, NVH, and Brake testing as per internal and customer standards.
• Conduct vehicle instrumentation, test preparation, data acquisition, and execution of ISO-standard test procedures.
• Analyze objective test data using industry-standard analysis tools and software.
• Generate technical reports and recommendations based on test findings under guidance from team leaders.
• Support pre-processing and post-processing of test data for vehicle development programs.
• Participate actively in proving ground and on-road testing activities.
• Collaborate with engineering teams for vehicle performance evaluation and improvement.
• Travel as required for OEM and internal testing programs.
• Ensure compliance with testing procedures, safety standards, and documentation requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

Mandatory

• 5-10 years of experience in Vehicle Testing / Proving Ground Operations.

• Strong experience in:

• Tire Development

• Chassis Systems

• Suspension Systems

• Brake Performance Testing

• Minimum 10 years of valid Indian driving licence with practical driving experience.

• Strong understanding of automotive engineering fundamentals and vehicle dynamics theory.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to interpret test results and convert data into actionable engineering insights.

Preferred Technical Skills

• Experience with data acquisition systems and loggers such as:

• VBOX

• AIM

• 2D Data Recording Systems

• Similar DAQ hardware

• Knowledge of data analysis and simulation tools:

• MATLAB

• Signal Analysis Tools

• MSC CarSim

• TruckSim

• Experience in objective vehicle performance testing and report generation.
