Vehicle Integration & Validation Test Engineer (Ebus Project)

Join the Ebus platform development project, responsible for smoke testing, vehicle integration, and validation of vehicle charging and vehicle control systems (VCCU, IVC).

Key Responsibilities

Smoke Test Execution (VCCU, IVC)

• Perform software smoke testing after each software delivery.
• Verify software flashing and ECU startup behavior.
• Define and execute smoke test cases and report results.
• Ensure major vehicle functions are operational before proceeding to detailed validation.

Vehicle Integration Testing (VCCU, CVC, EVCC, BCM, MHU, XGW and related ECUs)

• Integrate software builds into test vehicles and development vehicles.
• Validate interactions between ECUs.
• Support system bring-up activities during vehicle integration events.
• Verify signal mapping and communication consistency across ECUs.

Defect Management

• Reproduce, analyze, and document defects.
• Perform root-cause investigation together with software development teams.
• Generate detailed issue reports and track defect closure.
• Support regression verification after issue fixes.

Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare test reports and integration status reports.
• Maintain issue tracking records.
• Provide daily/weekly testing progress updates.
• Create and maintain test procedures and test evidence.

Deliverables

Smoke test execution reports, vehicle integration reports, ECU communication analysis reports, defect analysis reports, charging validation reports, test evidence and traceability records, and daily/weekly project status updates.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Automotive Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive E/E system development, integration, or validation.
• Proven experience with vehicle integration, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities.
• Hands-on experience with automotive communication protocols, including Ethernet, CAN, CAN FD, LIN, and diagnostic protocols (UDS, ISO 14229).
• Experience integrating ECUs, sensors, actuators, and vehicle networks in prototype or production vehicles.
• Experience with vehicle diagnostics, software flashing, calibration, and configuration management.
• Proficiency in integration and test tools such as CANoe, CANalyzer, ETAS, dSPACE, Vector, or equivalent.
• Strong debugging, root cause analysis, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work full-time onsite at vehicle testing facilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of ISO 15118 (EV Charging) and IEC 61851.
• Familiarity with the ASPICE development process.
• Experience with EV charging systems (VCCU, EVCC).
• Good English communication skills for working with technical teams and writing reports.
