On Target Earnings - circa £34,000 + dependant on experience and skills.

We are a family owned and run business and have been in Peterborough for over 25 years with our franchise partner, Kia. With our continued success in both sales and aftersales we are a busy dealership and are looking for a skilled vehicle prep technician to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the fastest growing automotive brands in the UK.

To support our expanding operations, we recently opened a brand-new vehicle preparation centre—dedicated to ensuring all new and used vehicles are prepared to the highest standards before being handed over to our customers.

Relevant experience and qualifications required

· A minimum of 2 years’ experience, ideally within a main dealer environment but not essential.

· NVQ level 2 or Equivalent

· Full driving licence

· Access to own tools – specialist tools provided

Development and training

Team members are given the relevant training to enable them to carry out and achieve our high standards. You will be enrolled in the Kia Academy which provides a bespoke training platform, focussing on Kia vehicles and the latest technologies.

Responsibilities

• To carry our pre delivery inspections on new, approved used and used cars
• Complete scheduled vehicle servicing and repairs in line with manufacturer requirements
• To perform all work assigned in a timely manner, adhering to company and manufacturer’s standards
• Conduct electronic vehicle health checks (eVHC) and provide a comprehensive report with expert advice and recommendations
• Liaise with service & sales staff to deliver outstanding service
• To ensure our company ethos of professionalism and service is maintained in all environments
• To work in a safe and considerate manor and adhere to all health and safety requirements

Working hours

Monday to Friday 08:00 to 17:00 (Includes a 30 minute lunch break)

1 in 3 Saturdays 08:00 to 14:00

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £32,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
