LOOKING FOR MORE THAN JUST A JOB?

Join Foton New Zealand and help launch the next generation of commercial vehicles.

This is your chance to build a career with one of New Zealand's fastest-growing commercial vehicle brands.

At Foton New Zealand, we're launching exciting new products, expanding our national dealer network, and growing our brand, all from our new national headquarters in Te Rapa, Hamilton. We're looking for someone who's eager to learn, enjoys hands-on work, and wants to be part of a team that's building something special.

Whether you've just finished school, starting a new career, or already have experience under your belt, we'll provide on-the-job training, real responsibility, and opportunities to grow. We're far more interested in your attitude and work ethic than a three-page CV.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the National Distributor for Foton Utes, Vans and Trucks, you'll prepare vehicles for delivery to dealers and customers across New Zealand - you'll play an important part in making that happen.

Based at our modern, purpose-built Vehicle Processing Centre in Te Rapa, no two days are the same. You'll be working with brand-new vehicles, coordinating logistics, travelling when needed, and helping ensure every Foton leaves ready to impress.

Details:

• Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
• Location: Burbush (Te Rapa), Hamilton
• Salary: $26-$32 per hour (based on experience)

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

• Coordinating vehicle movements to Hamilton/Auckland suppliers (engineers, painters, mechanics and more)
• Preparing vehicles for delivery, including detailing and accessory installation
• Maintaining vehicle stock and updating vehicle records
• Conducting inspections and preparing damage reports for incoming vehicles
• Assisting with vehicle deliveries throughout New Zealand
• Travelling to the Auckland holding facility to inspect new shipments of vehicles as they arrive

GROW YOUR CAREER

This role is designed to grow with the right person. As you develop, you'll have opportunities to take on greater responsibility, including:

• Managing daily workflow within the Vehicle Processing Centre (VPC)
• Coordinating the processing and movement of all sold vehicles
• Supporting the sales team with vehicle tracking, reporting, and other admin tasks,

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

• A clean driver's license (full preferred but restricted considered for the right candidate)
• A positive attitude and a willingness to learn
• Reliability and a strong work ethic
• Good physical fitness - this is a hands-on role, not a desk job
• An understanding of workplace Health & Safety practices

WHY JOIN FOTON NEW ZEALAND?:

• Work for the National Distributor in our new, purpose-built Te Rapa facility
• Receive on-the-job training and genuine career development opportunities
• Enjoy a varied role that combines vehicles, logistics, travel, and teamwork
• Be part of a supportive, close-knit team where your contribution matters
• Help launch exciting new vehicles into the New Zealand market.
• Join a company with ambitious plans to become one of NZ's leading commercial vehicle brands
