Vehicle Service Advisor

Job Summary

As a Service Advisor, you’ll guide customers through automotive service from the first conversation to vehicle pickup. You’ll listen to concerns, coordinate inspections and repairs, explain estimates, and keep clients informed throughout the process.

Duties

• Welcome customers, document concerns, and communicate repair recommendations in clear, practical language.
• Coordinate diagnostics, maintenance, and repair with service technicians; track work through completion.
• Discuss appropriate service options and support sales through ethical upselling, without pressuring customers.
• Handle service writing, client communication, cash handling, and customer records; arrange driving or vehicle movement as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills; able to explain technical findings and estimates clearly.
• Mechanical knowledge or mechanic, service technician, or auto service management experience is helpful. Dealership experience is preferred.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
