Experienced Vehicle Technician

Champion Motor Company is looking for an experienced and qualified Vehicle Technician to join our team.

This position is only suitable for applicants with a recognised vehicle technician qualification and a minimum of three years’ relevant experience. Please do not apply if you do not meet these requirements.

Main Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming vehicles and produce accurate preparation and repair lists
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults
• Complete servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs
• Identify problems and determine the correct repair independently
• Complete work efficiently and within a reasonable timeframe
• Maintain a consistently high standard of workmanship
• Keep the workshop and working areas clean, organised and safe
• Communicate clearly regarding faults, required parts and job progress

Essential Requirements

• Minimum of three years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician
• Recognised vehicle technician or motor vehicle qualification
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
• Able to work independently without constant supervision
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking
• Able to manage workload and complete jobs efficiently
• Willing to work overtime when required
• Available to work Saturday mornings as standard, particularly to complete outstanding work following a busy week
• Full UK driving licence
