This is an opportunity to join a business that places a strong emphasis on employee development, investing heavily in specialist equipment, manufacturer-led training, and career progression. You'll be part of an experienced team responsible for keeping customers safely on the road through high-quality servicing, maintenance, and repair work.

Main Duties:

  • Carry out diagnostic procedures to identify mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults.
  • Repair and replace components including brakes, suspension, steering, drivetrain, and engine systems.
  • Perform vehicle inspections and identify any additional repairs or maintenance requirements.
  • Interpret technical data and utilise diagnostic equipment to investigate more complex issues.
  • Ensure all repairs are completed in line with manufacturer specifications and workshop quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate workshop records, service documentation, and technician reports.
  • Work collaboratively with Service Advisors and fellow technicians to ensure efficient workflow and timely vehicle turnaround.
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental procedures within the workshop.
  • Keep skills and technical knowledge current through ongoing training and development, including hybrid and electric vehicle technologies where applicable.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Vehicle Technician, Motor Technician, or equivalent automotive qualification.
  • Previous experience working within a dealership, independent garage, or commercial workshop environment.
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capabilities.
  • Experience using modern diagnostic equipment and workshop management systems.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality workmanship.
  • Full clean driving licence.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop new technical skills.
  • Experience working on hybrid or electric vehicles would be advantageous but is not essential.

Package & Benefits:

  • Attractive salary package with realistic earnings potential exceeding €60,000.
  • Productivity and performance-related bonus schemes.
  • Additional year-end incentive programme.
  • Overtime opportunities available.
  • Ongoing manufacturer and technical training programmes.
  • Pension contribution scheme.
  • Employee assistance programme.
  • Staff referral rewards.
