Vehicle Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be adept at using both hand and power tools for various repair and maintenance tasks. This role requires a commitment to delivering excellent customer service while ensuring vehicles are maintained to the highest standards.

Duties

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles, including cars, vans, and lorries.
• Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics and technical manuals.
• Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as needed for repairs.
• Conduct equipment repairs and ensure all tools are maintained in good working order.
• Execute heavy lifting tasks as required during the repair process.
• Weld components when necessary to ensure structural integrity.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs and repair status.
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace to promote safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or similar role is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret schematics effectively.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks as part of the job requirements.
• Excellent customer service skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
• A willingness to learn new techniques and stay updated on industry advancements is essential.
