Vehicle Technician

Lakeland Commercials Kendal is looking for:

A vehicle technician to help with a fleet of HGVs. The ideal candidate would have previous experience working with either vehicle type, but not essential.

Relevant training will be provided for necessary qualifications.

Hours: 8:00am - 17:00pm Mon to Fri + Alternative Sat morning.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in diagnosing mechanical issues and performing repairs under supervision.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on vehicles and machinery.
• Help in the disassembly and reassembly of mechanical components.
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored.
• Follow safety protocols while working with machinery and tools.
• Collaborate with senior mechanics to learn best practices and improve skills.
