Vehicle Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our team. Duties

• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues
• Perform repairs and maintenance on clutches, brakes, and other vehicle systems
• Use hand tools and power tools to carry out repairs efficiently and accurately
• Test vehicles post-repair to ensure issues have been resolved effectively
• Maintain detailed records of work carried out and parts used
• Assist with vehicle diagnostics using specialised equipment
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications
• Assist in the organisation of workshop tools and equipment to maintain a safe working environment

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge of various vehicle systems and components
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for repairs and maintenance tasks
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling vehicle parts or equipment
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Prior experience in a vehicle repair workshop is desirable but not essential; training will be provided where necessary
