Role overview

Vehicle Technician, Hockmeyer Motors, (part of A.F Blakemore & Son Ltd) 39 Hours per week Shifts Mon – Thursday 8am – 5pm Friday 8am – 4pm We have an exciting opportunity for a Vehicle Technician . As a Vehicle Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting our Workshop Manager in creating a positive customer experience through providing efficient general maintenance on cars and light commercial vehicles, including services and repairs.

Key Tasks/Responsibilities

• Vehicle fault finding
• Services & repairs
• Cambelt/cam changes
• Clutch fitting

Key Skills/Knowledge

• Diagnostic experience
• Driving licence required
• MOT tester desired but not essential
• Welding desired but not essential
• Behave within the principles of the company’s values at all times
• Maintain employee and organisational confidentiality in line with the Data Protection Act
• Demonstrate commitment to equality and diversity
• Previous experience in a similar role and/or industry is required
• Reliably follows instructions and procedures with excellent attention to detail
