Absolute Merc is an established, independent Mercedes-Benz specialist workshop based in Poole. We pride ourselves on dealer-level diagnostics, high-standard mechanical repairs, and specialist commercial vehicle maintenance (primarily Sprinter and Vito), alongside passenger cars. We provide a clean, modern workshop equipped with dealer-level tooling, genuine Xentry systems, and a supportive team environment without the dealership red tape.

The Role

We are looking for a skilled, self-motivated Vehicle Technician to join our team. You will carry out routine servicing, mechanical overhauls, and component replacements to manufacturer standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and vehicle health checks.
• Perform mechanical repairs, including timing chains and oil coolers, clutches, brakes, suspension, and engine components.
• Ensure all work is completed efficiently, accurately, and to a high standard of craftsmanship.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.

What We’re Looking For

• NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent experience/time-served).
• Solid experience in vehicle diagnostics, servicing, and general mechanical repairs.
• Mercedes-Benz or German vehicle experience is a distinct advantage, but a sharp diagnostic mind and strong work ethic are most important.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Own standard toolkit (specialist tooling and diagnostic equipment provided).

Pay: £36,000.00-£44,000.00 per year
