Job Summary:

The Vehicle Installer will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of aftermarket products in work trucks and emergency vehicles. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Travel could be available to various client locations to perform installations.

Key Responsibilities:

· Install a variety of aftermarket products, including but not limited to lighting systems, communication equipment, storage solutions, and safety features, in work trucks and emergency vehicles.

· Read and interpret installation manuals, schematics, and diagrams to ensure proper installation of products.

· Perform quality checks to ensure all installations meet company standards and client specifications.

· Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues in a timely manner.

· Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.

· Document and report any issues or discrepancies encountered during installation.

· Communicate effectively with clients to understand their specific needs and provide exceptional customer service.

· Keep up to date with new products and installation techniques through continuous learning and training.

· Travel to various client locations to perform installations and provide support as needed.

Qualifications:

· Proven experience in vehicle installation or a related field.

· Strong mechanical and 12v vehicle electrical system skills.

· Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics.

· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

· Strong communication and customer service skills.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

· Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and tools as required.

· Willingness and ability to travel to client locations.

· Basic understanding of Microsoft 365 for maintaining records pertaining to installation work.

Education:

· High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus.

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 per week
