Vehicle Technician / Mechanic – Immediate Start Available

Urban Autocare is an independent, modern vehicle service, repair, and diagnostics centre. We handle everything from routine maintenance to complex mechanical overhauls and advanced vehicle troubleshooting across all major makes and models.

We are seeking a skilled Experienced Vehicle Technician with strong diagnostic expertise to tackle complex mechanical and electrical fault-finding alongside routine servicing and repairs.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical faults on a wide range of vehicles.
• Carry out servicing, maintenance and general vehicle repairs.
• Install, remove and repair vehicle components.
• Carry out complex repairs including timing chain replacements, timing belt replacements, engine replacements and major mechanical work.
• Use diagnostic equipment to accurately identify faults.
• Complete work to manufacturer and company standards.
• Ensure all jobs are completed safely, accurately and within agreed deadlines.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area.

Essential Requirements

• Must own your own tools.
• Proven experience working as a vehicle technician/mechanic.
• Experience carrying out timing chain replacements, engine replacements and major mechanical repairs.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Positive, professional and reliable attitude.
• Ability to work efficiently whilst maintaining high standards.
