**Vehicle Triage & Validation Engineer

Work Location: Auburn Hills, MI (On Site)** Job Description Bachelor of Science or equivalent experience in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or related Engineering field from an ABET accredited university

Proficient in developing diagnostic content for either or both electrified propulsion system and conventional

Knowledge of Diagnostic Protocols, CAN messaging structure & protocol for the **CAN-Bus layer and electrical systems test interface tools

Proficient in CANalyzer, ETAS Inca.** Good understanding of vehicle propulsion system (conventional and/or electrified) Proficiency in developing more sophisticated diagnostic strategies, such as, but not limited to, after treatment diagnostics, evaporative leak detection diagnostics.

Proficiency in comprehensive component monitoring (circuit checks, rationalities and functional checks including automatic findings)

Understanding with the following programming: C++, MATLAB/Simulink, Pseudo code modification Applying a multi-functional tool chain, requiring familiarity with IBM Rational ALM, ONG, etc.
