Vehicle Wrap Installer

Precision Wraps & Graphics is looking for an experienced Vehicle Wrap Installer to join our team.

We specialize in high-quality vehicle wraps, commercial graphics, fleet branding, race cars, and specialty automotive projects. We work on everything from work trucks and commercial fleets to high-end performance and luxury vehicles, and we expect our installation quality to reflect that.

We're looking for an installer who is skilled, confident, detail-oriented, and driven. This position is for someone who can think for themselves, take ownership of a project, and keep a job moving without needing constant direction.

Pay: $15–$25/hour depending on experience and skill level
Additional Compensation: Performance bonuses with potential for commission
Schedule: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, with overtime available
Experience Required: Minimum 1+ year of professional vehicle wrap installation experience

Responsibilities

As a Vehicle Wrap Installer, you'll work on a wide variety of projects, including:

• Full color-change vehicle wraps
• High-end, luxury, and performance vehicles
• Commercial vehicle wraps
• Fleet wraps and fleet graphics
• Race cars and race liveries
• Specialty automotive projects
• Decals, lettering, stripes, and graphics
• Partial vehicle wraps

Daily responsibilities may include:

• Properly cleaning and preparing vehicles for installation
• Planning the installation and determining the best approach for each vehicle
• Installing vinyl on simple and complex body panels
• Properly stretching, heating, post-heating, trimming, and finishing vinyl
• Creating clean edges, corners, seams, overlaps, and transitions
• Working around complex curves, body lines, mirrors, handles, bumpers, and trim
• Removing and reinstalling vehicle components when necessary
• Disassembling items such as mirrors, door handles, bumpers, lights, trim, emblems, and other components when appropriate
• Identifying potential problems before they affect the finished installation
• Troubleshooting installation challenges independently
• Maintaining proper production speed while protecting installation quality
• Meeting project deadlines
• Inspecting completed vehicles and correcting imperfections before final QC
• Keeping your installation area, tools, and equipment clean and organized
• Treating every customer's vehicle with care and professionalism

Independence & Accountability

This is an important part of this position.

We're looking for an installer who does not need to be constantly managed in order to make progress.

We understand that questions will come up and teamwork is important. However, we expect an experienced installer to have confidence in their training and abilities.

We value installers who take ownership of their work rather than waiting for someone else to constantly tell them what to do.

We're looking for professional installers who understand how to deliver premium craftsmanship efficiently.

Because we work on high-end vehicles and specialty projects, details matter. At the same time, projects have schedules and deadlines that must be met.

A successful installer here should continually work toward becoming cleaner, faster, and more efficient without sacrificing quality.

• Full color-change wraps
• Commercial wraps
• Fleet graphics
• High-end or luxury vehicles
• Race cars and specialty vehicles
• Vehicle disassembly and reassembly
• Complex bumpers and difficult body panels
• Major professional vinyl manufacturers such as 3M, Avery Dennison, ORAFOL, KPMF, and similar products

Physical Requirements

Candidates must be able to:

• Remain standing and on their feet for extended periods
• Bend, kneel, crouch, and work in different positions around vehicles
• Work around and underneath vehicles when necessary
• Safely use ladders and installation equipment when required
• Lift and carry 50+ lbs
• Perform physically demanding installation work throughout the workday

Hands-On Skill Test Required

Because this is an experienced installer position, qualified candidates will be required to complete a hands-on vinyl installation skill test as part of the interview process.

The skill test will allow us to evaluate real-world installation ability, including technique, speed, cleanliness, trimming, finishing, problem-solving, and overall craftsmanship.
