Vending Route Driver

This is an opportunity to work independently for a fast-growing, local company. You will be responsible for servicing vending machines on business locations across the Detroit area. Servicing of a vending machine and micro markets includes but is not limited to filling, cleaning, merchandising, repairing and collecting money. Servicing is completed in a company transit van.

It is necessary to maintain contact with customers on a regular basis and provide feedback to your supervisor(s) if there are ways to service an account better. This position requires a lot of driving and a lot of lifting.

You will be trained on our management software that assists you in your daily reporting of stops visited, the number of products added to each machine, stale product picked up, and/or items loaded to the truck. You will be trained to conduct minor repairs to the vending machines.

Shift hours are 5am-3pm. Overtime is paid on all work over 40 hours.

Requirements:

• Must be able to efficiently follow an established daily route.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
• Must be able to comfortably lift 50 lbs.
• Must have a valid driver's license, a good driving record, and provide a driving record abstract from the Department of Motor Vehicles (when hired)
• Must be a self-starter willing to work both independently and in a team environment
• Must be comfortable with smartphone application ("apps") technology for vending management software, and be willing to use your personal smartphone for the job
• Prior experience preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
