Vendor Development Engineer

Job Summary

Looking for an experienced Vendor Development & Outsourcing Engineer with strong expertise in sheet metal fabrication, heavy fabrication and machining to manage outsourced manufacturing activities as per monthly production plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage outsourced fabrication and machining activities as per production requirements.
• Identify, develop and evaluate new fabrication & machining vendors.
• Assess vendor technical capability, capacity, quality and delivery performance.
• Prepare RFQs, obtain competitive quotations and support cost negotiation.
• Monitor vendor Cost, Quality, Delivery & Capacity.
• Coordinate with vendors on technical issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Develop alternate vendors to ensure capacity and supply continuity.
• Coordinate with Design, Production, Quality, Purchase & Planning teams.

Candidate Profile

• 6–8 years’ relevant experience in engineering/equipment manufacturing industries.
• Strong practical knowledge of fabrication and machining processes.
• Experience in vendor development and outsourcing management.
• Good technical, analytical, negotiation and coordination skills.
• Capable of handling multiple vendors and meeting monthly outsourcing targets.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
