About the Role

We are looking for a practical, hardworking and reliable person to join our installation team as a Ventilation Installer.

This role would suit someone with a joinery, carpentry or general building background who enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in their work and can think on their feet when things don't always go exactly to plan.

You don't necessarily need previous ventilation experience. Practical ability, attitude and the ability to solve problems on site are more important. Full training will be provided for the right person.

Our work involves installing MVHR and other ventilation systems in new-build and existing properties across Northern Ireland.

What You'll Be Doing

• Installing MVHR and other ventilation systems
• Installing and routing ventilation ductwork
• Working within roof spaces, floors, ceilings and service areas
• Cutting, drilling and adapting materials to suit each installation
• Working from drawings and installation plans
• Installing ventilation units, manifolds, valves and external components
• Working alongside other trades on site
• Carrying out installation work to a high standard
• Keeping sites clean, tidy and organised
• Helping with commissioning and final checks as your experience develops
• Solving practical problems on site and finding workable solutions

The Person

We're not looking for someone who simply wants to turn up, do the same task every day and go home.

Our installations are different from job to job, and being able to adapt is a big part of the role. You might need to work around existing structures, coordinate with another trade, alter a duct route or come up with a practical solution to an unexpected issue.

If you're the type of person who sees a problem and thinks "I'll figure out a way to make this work", this could be a good fit.

Experience

Previous ventilation experience is not essential.

Experience in joinery, carpentry, roofing, building or another practical trade would be highly beneficial.

Training will be provided on our ventilation systems, installation methods and company procedures.

A full UK driving licence is required.
